Half Day tour / Iguazú NP
We depart from the Puerto Iguazú hotels very early in the morning and visit different areas and environments within the Iguazú National Park, endeavouring to find and observe the greatest diversity of bird species as possible . The time spent birdwatching on these regular excursions is of four hours, while the whole outing will last up to an approximate total of five hours.
As in the half day tour, we will start early in the morning in the National Park or the 101 road, walking throuhg the best birding areas of the park. We will have lunch at the park and use the rest of the afternoon birding and enjoying the view of the falls. Late in the afternoon we will visit the famous Hummingbird garden.
We will leave very early from Iguazú heading to the famous Urugua-í Provincial Park, where we will look for species like the Black-fronted Piping-guan, and the Sharp-tailed Streamcreeper. Then we will drive to the Karadya Birding Lodge, the first Birding Lodge in Argentina, and one of the birdwatching hotspots of the region. After lunch and afternoon birding at the lodge, we will drive back to Iguazú
We will go birding to the Iguazú National Park in the morning and, after having lunch, we will go on a kayak trip at the Iguazú and the Paraná River

Highlights: Ruddy-headed Goose, Austral Canastero, and Rufous-chested Dottorel
Day 1: RIO GRANDE. Arrival at the local airport and transfer to hotel. Lodging. Tour to the northern grasslands of Tierra del Fuego, one of the best areas to see the Ruddy-headed Goose. Near the Atlantic coast, several seashore birds can be observed depending on the arrival time. A box lunch will be provided. Lodging in Rio Grande. Dinner not included. Total number of kilometers for this day: 80.
Day 2: 7:00 AM. RIO GRANDE. Breakfast. Transfer to Ushuaia travelling through different landscapes: grassland with sheep farming; lagoons inhabited by waterfowl; the vast transitional area containing peat bogs and low deciduous Beech Forest. After passing Fagnano and Escondido Lakes, we cross the Fuegian Andes. On the way we will stop to see different bird species. A Box Lunch will be provided during the tour. Arrival in Ushuaia. Lodging. Dinner not included. Total number of kilometers for this day: 230.
Day 3: 7:00 AM. USHUAIA. Breakfast.In the morning: Birding tour to Martial Glacier area. Upon reaching the High Andean vegetation, several bird species can be observed. Passing the timberline there is a good chance of seeing the Yellow-bridled Finch (habitat: 600 / 900 over sea-level). Lunch not included.In the afternoon: Boat tour of the Beagle Channel up to the Magellanic Penguin colony. Different kinds of marine birds can be seen throughout the trip. Return to Ushuaia and lodging. Dinner not included. Duration: 6 hours.
Day 4: 8:00 AM. USHUAIA. Breakfast. Birding tour to the Tierra del Fuego National Park where Magellanic Woodpeckers, Black-browed Albatross and other birds can be observed in the Southern Beech Forests. Seabirds such as Kelp Geese and Steamer Ducks can be observed in the coastal areas. A box lunch will be provided during the tour. Return to Ushuaia and lodging. Dinner not included. Duration: 8 hours. Total number of kilometers for this morning: 60.
Day 5: USHUAIA. Breakfast. Transfer to the local airport. End of our services.

A tour designed for those bird lovers staying at Misiones Capital City, Posadas, where you will see the great bird diversity of southern Misiones, a fantastic place for grassland and Chaco species. Leaving early from Posadas to Candelaria area, and then to Estancia Santa Cecilia, where we will look for iconic species and enjoy a traditional Asado with natural grassland certified meat.
